Arsenal are interested in re-signing their former midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup, according to reports. The 23-year old spent four years with the Gunners before signing for Besiktas in 2012, for a transfer fee of €500,000.
Since signing for the Turkish giants, the midfielder has made huge strides in his career and is now a regular in the Turkish national team.
According to Turkish source Fanatik, the Gunners are interested in bringing their youth product once again to Emirates Stadium. According to the report, a deal for the player looks unlikely before the summer, but the player himself is eager to return to Premier League and join the Gunners.
Arsene Wenger sees Ozyakup as a long-term replacement of Santi Cazorla.
He has scored 15 league goals in 94 appearances for the Turkish club. He also opened the scoring for the Turkish side in the crucial Euro Qualifier against the Netherlands.
