Well yes, it might do if he finally moves to Real Madrid this summer which is what Spanish reporters are suggesting. One Spanish newspaper has stated that the Manchester United goalkeeper has started moving furniture from his UK home to Madrid in preparation for a summer move.
He almost moved to the Bernabeu last season amid one of the most drawn out transfer sagas in recent times. They wanted him, he wanted to go and Manchester United were willing to accept the loss. It is widely understood that the only reason he didn’t move was because of complications in the paperwork at the deadline.
Keylor Navas has enjoyed a fairly good season in goal at Real but the Spanish giants have always been admirers of De Gea and would gladly sign him up in a second. Real have wanted to replace Iker Casillas with David De Gea for some time and they openly admit that they see the 25 year old Spanish international as the future of Real Madrid between the sticks.
‘A few days ago De Gea has home furniture in a warehouse of a moving company. His girlfriend has been responsible for all this and even no longer lives in which until now was (their) usual home.’
