In yet another hard to believe and extraordinary transfer rumour, Real Madrid have been with a move with Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
Spanish source Ok Diario has claimed that La Liga giants are interested in the move for the Belgian international and wants him to take over the duties from Keylor Navas.
According to the report, Courtois is also interested in the move, and his representatives have already contacted Real Madrid and have informed the club of their client’s desire to play at Santiago Bernabeu.
It’s a well-known fact that Los Blancos are in pursuit of a world-class goalkeeper following the departure of Iker Casillas. Last transfer window, they unsuccessfully tried to sign Man Utd goalkeeper David de Gea, but now it seems like they have switched attention to Courtois instead.
Courtois has already played in the capital city with Real’s local rivals Atletico Madrid; a move for him won’t be easy for Real Madrid as he is one of the prized assets of Premier League champions.
