Shock: Young Star Refused to Sign a New Contract and is Leaving Anfield

Liverpool are set to lose their star youngster Jerome Sinclair, according to the latest reports. The Daily Telegraph earlier this week claimed that the 19-year old has refused to sign a new contract at Anfield and is set to leave the club in January.

Sinclair only has six months left in his contract, and the Reds are set to lose him for free in summer. However, Watford are interested in the player and have reportedly made a bid for the player.

The Express reports that the Hornets’ bid is well short of Liverpool’s £3million valuation and has been rejected.

But Hornets boss Quique Sanchez Flores has revealed that he is still interested in the player and is confident of signing him.

“Sinclair is the kind of player I like for Watford,” Flores said. “He has the qualities that we need. He has the skill and conditions to come here.”

“We managed really well in the transfer window, we are really calm, we have the players we need.”

Sinclair made his first appearance for the Reds in 2-2 FA Cup draw with Exeter City earlier this month and scored a goal in the game.
