Club CEO Practically Confirms Marco Reus Will Sign For Liverpool

Chief executive Ian Ayre was speaking in Dublin this week when he admitted that the hierarchy at Liverpool actually see social media posts from fans who voice their opinions on who the club should sign and they do not just see it alone but consider these opinions and also try to build on these opinions as they try to sign these players to satisfy the opinions of the fans at Anfield.

Dortmund’s Marco Reus has long been shouted in the social media by a lot of Liverpool fans and the Chief Executive has admitted that this is a good option to consider at the Anfield.

He said, “It seems like a good idea. (But) If we did everything that was said on social media, we wouldn’t get any work done.”

The transfer rumors surrounding Liverpool and Reus have been widespread for a few seasons running, but the appointment of former Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has definitely added fuel to the fire. The German international would no doubt be a fantastic signing for the club, and prove that Klopp can attract big name signings plus the player recently released a statement saying that he would love to meet up again with his former manager who actually brought him in to the first team squad at Dortmund.

Ayre also said about the fans opinions that, “It’s about using it as a barometer, it’s a good tool to get a sense of what the feeling is out there.”

Whether or not Reus arrives at Liverpool in the future remains to be seen, but it’s a transfer that will definitely satisfy fans and make the squad better.
