SHOCKING – Wenger Confirms French Winger Will Play For Arsenal
Arsene Wenger has reportedly included kid sensation Jeff Reine-Adelaide in the squad for Arsenal’s pre-season.
As per reports, the Gunners boss has revealed that Reine-Adelaide will have a chance to prove his worth during the Gunners pre-season alongside other youngsters such as Chris Willock, Alex Iwobi, Gideon Zelalem and Chuba Akpom.
The 17-year old summer signing from Lens academy is a left footed pacey winger, and it is thought that he was included in the squad due to the absence of Alexis Sanchez who is “resting”.
Reine-Adelaide relatively young age has not deterred Wenger from including him and giving him a chance to impress. The Arsenal manager confirmed this, according to the Telegraph, when he told reporters that “You will see Jeff Reine-Adelaide in pre-season”.
“Adelaide is a player I’ve identified in France. He just won the European Championship with the U-17”, Wenger said of the 17-year old.
“He’s an offensive player but he can develop into an all-round midfielder as well. At the moment he plays on the right or left but I think he can develop into a central midfielder as well”, the veteran manager concluded.
Reine-Adelaide has high aspirations and his belief in Arsenal’s style of play and also Wenger’s tutelage of youngsters made him choose to move to the Emirates.
