SHOCKING – Wenger HINTS At Benzema Signing, A Deadline Day Move On The Card?

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been talking about Arsenal transfer possibilities in far away Asia. The Frenchman was asked about the possibility of Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema joining Arsenal.

Wenger was quoted to have said ; “Thats not happening at the moment”

This is definitely sad news for Arsenal fans but that statement could well mean Wenger are waiting on Real Madrid to make their move in the transfer window before attempting to sign Benzema.

When Arsenal signed Ozil, Real Madrid signed Bale before then and same thing for Sanchez from Barca. Barca’s signing of Suarez from Liverpool ensured Arsenal was able to sign the Chilean.

The fact that Wenger has not totally ruled out the possibility of Benzema playing for Arsenal speaks volume. Should Madrid go crazy in the transfer window ( and they always do ), Arsenal can hope to sign Benzema still hence Wenger has smartly said “at the moment”.

Signing Benzema will automatically make Arsenal a title favorite. Off course the gunners could do with another defensive midfielder but they could make do with what they have in the team in that department for now. A striker is however a must. With Ozil, Sanchez, Carzola, Wilshere and the likes in the team, signing someone like Benzema will be the final piece in Arsenal’s jigsaw.
