Loius Van Gaal Sack

Sir Alex Ferguson decided: LVG will lose his job even if he wins the FA Cup

Even after retiring, it appears that Sir Alex Ferguson still has a lot of influence behind the scenes at Manchester United. He was instrumental in the installment of David Moyes, although many Manchester United fans will want to forget that period, and his opposition of sacking Louis Van Gaal has now ended.

Even if they win the FA Cup this season, which is still a possibility, the Manchester United board look almost certain to introduce Jose Mourinho to the fans as the next manager to try and bring the glory years back to Manchester. The club hierarchy seems to have accepted the need for change after an inconsistent season of ups and downs.

An exit strategy is being formulated and Mourinho is thought to have already signed an agreement with Manchester United, meaning that even if Van Gaal finishes the season with a trophy, he is likely to finish it without a job.

3 years have passed since Manchester United last won a trophy and for a side who saw so much success with Sir Alex at the helm, this is a big failure on the clubs behalf. It is thought that Mourinho, who won competitions in most of the major European League, is the man to bring the glory days back to Old Trafford.

With Guardiola taking over at city and Conte taking the helm at Chelsea, 3 of the best managers in the world will be battling for Premier League glory next season.
