Sir Alex Ferguson- British football’s most successful manager by guiding Manchester United to 13 Premier League titles, 2 European Cups, 5 FA Cups, 4 League Cups and 1 European Winner’s Cup. It is therefore of no surprise that Manchester United constantly turn to the former manger (who took charge of the Red Devils in 1986) for transfer guidance, and they are at it again.
Ferguson is an ambassador and director for United therefore his authority still remains intact. This time the Scottish man is believed to be encouraging United to secure the signatures of two top performing midfielders in N’golo Kante and Renato Sanches
The aforementioned midfielder have both had superb season. Another midfielder gaining some much deserved attention is Leicester City’s N’golo Kante, the French man was often an unsung hero in Leicester’s fairy tale campaign where Mahrez and Vardy the main goal contributors would be heaped with all the praise.
Yet more recently Kante has been seen as a solid force shielding the back line and ensuring the attacking players can attack with ease. Kante does hid job in silence and has been a Duracell battery in midfield. He has energy suitable for n team looking to press the opposition and the ability to pick out a dangerous ball once winning it back.
He is physically strong and is fast and therefore becomes dominant in midfield. Fergusons was full of praise for Kante after watching the midfielder have a break our season. Expectedly, United are not alone in the hunt for Kante as Juventus are looking into his signature as well. A buyout clause of £20 million is all it would rake to bring Kante to Old Trafford, an amount not capable of breaking the bank.
Renato Sanches has been on United’s radar for some time now and Fergie has told United to do all they need to do to bag the prodigy. At a hefty fee of £46 million will lure Sanches away However, Ferguson believes that he has the potential to be instrumental to the Red Devils in years to come.
Having previously worked with one of the world’s best in Cristiano Ronaldo; Fergie is adamant that Sanches has the credentials to perform at similar heights.
None other than Sir Alex Ferguson said-so. Therefore it’s in a United’s best interests to grant him his wish. Expect the Red Devils run around chasing these top targets.
