Six Times Serie A Winner, To Take Over From Jose Mourinho? World Class Manager Confirms Chelsea Job

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has been under-fire of recent for his clubs terrible start to their season despite being the defending champions of the English Premier League title and the manager has been in the news recently as being on his way out of Stamford Bridge and instead of these rumors reducing, they have been increasing day by day and Capello may have added more insult to injury as the former England boss Fabio Capello has dropped a huge hint that he would be interested in taking over from Jose Mourinho at Chelsea, as reported by Gazzetta dello Sport.

Although the Italian manager is not so popular with the English crowd as he led the Three Lions to the 2010 World Cup Round of 16 stage, where his side were notoriously dumped out by Germany, with Frank Lampard wrongfully denied an equalizing goal.

And then Capello’s most recent job came at the helm of the Russian national team, where he spent three years before being sacked in June.

However, with the ever-growing pressure mounting on Mourinho’s shoulders after a torrid start to their Premier League title defence, the 69-year-old has hinted that he could be interested in taking over at Stamford Bridge and he said, “Is my future at Chelsea? Well, why not? At this moment, I’m still in Russia, in Moscow. For now, I haven’t heard anything or received any [offers], but if something interesting does come along then why not?”

Despite not having much luck in England,  Fabio Capello boasts an extraordinary managerial record, having won Serie A titles with both AC Milan and Roma, as well as tasting La Liga success with Real Madrid on two occasions.

Chelsea fans will at this point just be hoping that these rumors end and that the club starts experiencing a turnaround to at least get them into the top-four in the league.
