Chelsea striker Diego Costa has been strongly linked with a move back to his former club Atletico Madrid for quite some time now.
The Spain international has had quite a tumultuous year in the Premier League and reports have suggested that he wants to reunite with his former manager Diego Simeone at Vincente Calderon.
Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has now revealed that there might be some truth in those reports. Balague says that Costa would love to go back to Atletico if given the opportunity
“Costa would love to go back to Atletico but Simeone wants to see what he can get from Martinez before trying anything else,” Balague told Sky Sports.
