The Boss CONFIRMS Manchester United Has Signed A WORLD Champion

One of the most surprising transfers that left the footballing world in awe and shock all around was the signing of German midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger by Manchester United. Ed Woodward deserves to be applauded for the manner at which the transfer was conducted and the silence about it.

It was a transfer that most people did not see coming.  Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal who shed more light on the transfer of Schweinsteiger to Manchester United said “Ok, he [Schweinsteiger] is a world champion and with Bayern Munich a Champions League winner. But the Bundesliga is different to the Premier League, here it is a higher rhythm and more pressure on the ball. He can see a challenge in that, that is why he is here.”

The Dutch Manager will be extremely delighted to be re-united with his former Bayern Munich player and will be looking to put Schweinsteiger’s talent to good use at Manchester United the same way he did at Bayern Munich. The world cup winner is the first German player to feature for Manchester United.

Bastian Schweinsteiger can be regarded as one of the most decorated midfielders of his generations. The German has won eight Bundesliga titles, seven DFB-Pokal titles, a UEFA Champions League title, a FIFA Club World Cup title and two DFB-Ligapokals. The 31 year old player will be hoping to add the Barclays Premier League medal to his collection before he retires.
