Theo Walcott To Lead Arsenal’s Attack Against Manchester United

Arsenal legend Liam Brady believes Theo Walcott should play up to for Arsenal when they tackle Manchester United on Sunday, as reported by talkSPORT.

The Gunners endured another disappointing night on Tuesday when they fell to a 3-2 defeat against Olympiakos, meaning they remain with 0 point after also losing their first Champions League game against Dinamo Zagreb a fortnight ago. With Bayern Munich Arsenal’s next opponents in the European competition, it is left to be seen whether the North London club will be successful in qualifying out of the group.

However, one of the positives Arsenal were able to take from the game was Theo Walcott’s brilliant performance upfront, alongside Alexis Sanchez – with the pacey England international grabbing the first goal for Arsenal and getting an assist for Sanchez for the second goal.

Brady has now heaped praises on Walcott, and is of the belief that Arsenal have no problem in the attacking third with the former Southampton attacker in the side.

“We don’t have a problem in the forward area, not as much as people like to make out,” the former Arsenal and Ireland star said.

“Theo will play. He scored again last night and payed really well for Sanchez’s goal.

Walcott has scored two goals for Arsenal in this season’s Champions League, one each against Zagreb and Olympiakos.

In the domestic league, Arsenal sit fourth on the log with 13 points in their opening seven games beating in-form Leicester City 5-2 at the King Power Stadium last weekend.

Next up for the Gunners is a tough game at home to Manchester United where Arsene Wenger’s men will be looking to earn all maximum points.
