Most Manchester United fans the world over will be eagerly anticipating what their club will be in the transfer window in the remaining 9 days. However, going by many various reports in the media this week, it seems Manchester United fans will have a lot to get excited about in the transfer window. If you believe reports in the Sunday papers, three different medicals will take place at Manchester United this week.
First is that of Alexandre Lacezzete who is said to be on his way to Stamford Bridge. According to the reports, the red devils have an agreement in principle with Lyon and are hopeful of reaching an agreement with the player. United were initially linked to the signing of Lewandowski but it is clear Bayern will not sell the player this summer. Cavani has also been linked but it appears United want a young player in Lacezette.
Another player said to be arriving at Manchester United this week is Chelsea target John Stones. According to reports, Manchester United are confident of signing the centre back and are ready to pay more money than Chelsea in other to get him. Chelsea were the first to show interest in the player but have had three bids of 20, 26 and 30 million rejected for the player so far.
Third but not the least is the reported signing of Gareth Bale. According to many reports, Louis Van Gaal and Ed Woodward are confident the player is coming to Manchester United and a deal is likely to be announced before Friday next week. Although this sounds too good to be true but with Real Madrid, you can never be too sure especially when you consider the fact that they have a debt of 500 million hanging on their head which expensive their unusual prudence in the transfer window so far this summer.
