Three Reasons Why Manchester United Will Beat Southampton Tomorrow
Manchester United have started this season on a relatively good note – they have won three of their matches, drawing one and losing one and are currently lying in third spot on the Premier League log with five points behind League leaders Manchester City.
United will be taking a trip to the St Mary’s Stadium on Sunday and have been tipped as the favourite to come out with three points in the clash.
Taking a swipe at the performance of both clubs, these are the reasons United will come out tops:
United’s form
The saints have struggled this season following the sale of some of their key players. They have managed to win just one match in five, drawing three and losing one, while United on the other hand appears to be better and are steadily improving over every League game.
Martial and Depay
Marquee signing Anthony martial shone on his derby against the kop and the player has shown flashes of being a serious threat to opponents and will certainly be a handful to the shaky defense of the Saints. Meanwhile, Depay is yet register a goal in the EPL but is surely riding in confidence after scoring the only goal for United in the Champions League Clash. The duo are tipped to combine well to hand three points to United.
Saint Defense
Following the sale of Schneiderlin to United, the Saint are left with inadequate cover for there defense, they have conceded two goals more than United and need to step up if they want to win. However, the attack of United will take advantage of that weakness to inflict defeat on the Saints.
