Chelsea have been relatively quiet this summer on the transfer front this summer. The newly crowned Premier League champions already have a near perfect squad and just minor tweaks are needed here and there. Till now, the possible departures of long serving stalwarts Petr Cech and John Obi Mikel have been the major headlines in Chelsea’s transfer window. That, however, is set to change soon as Chelsea are reportedly nearing a sensational triple swoop in the coming days. Here we discuss the three players possibly on their way in to Stamford Bridge .

Sterling to Manchester City has been the major story this summer. Liverpool have reportedly rejected two bids worth £25 million and £35 million from City for the want-away midfielder who has made it abundantly clear through his agent that he will not sign a contract extension at Anfield. It seemed only a matter of when rather than if. However, Chelsea have now entered the picture with a bid of £40 million to test Liverpool’s resolve. Moving back to his native London is sure to be an appealing prospect for the youngster. If City keep waiting to put in another offer matching Liverpool’s valuation, Chelsea might just nip in and lure the midfielder away. An intriguing development, and a story every Chelsea fan will be watching anxiously over the next few days.

The Juventus midfielder is no doubt the most in-demand player in this summer’s transfer window with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United and Manchester City all prepared to pay £80 million for his services. The swashbuckling youngster would no doubt make any team better with his presence and Chelsea have now registered their interest with his agent Mino Raiola. Barcelona are favorites for his signature , but Chelsea might just hope to lure the French International to Stamford Bridge to supplement an already world class midfield. Chelsea fans will surely be salivating at the prospect of Pogba lining up with Fabregas,Matic,Oscar and Hazard among others.With Mikel reportedly departing for Al Ain of UAE, Chelsea are looking for another midfielder and Pogba fits the profile perfectly.

With long-time servant and legend Petr Cech reportedly leaving for Arsenal, Chelsea have allegedly agreed a deal with Stoke City worth £8 million to bring Asmir Begovic as a back up to the majestic Thibaut Courtois. An announcement of the deal is expected in the coming days.
