Wojciech Szczęsny back to arsenal

Transfer update: Goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny wants to leave Arsenal

Arsenal FC on-loan goalkeeper, Wojciech Szczesny isn’t keen to return to the club anytime soon as the goalkeeper is said to be having a superb time at AS Roma and is expected to stay in Italy for at least one more season.

According to reports, Szczesny has been in good form and there’s a huge possibility that the Pole will remain in Italy, since returning to England would definitely mean he would have to settle for a place on the bench as Arsenal have rested their goalkeeping responsibility solely on the hands of Petr Cech.

The Gunners would not want to act against the player’s will, but they would have one condition if Roma want to keep the shot stopper. Arsenal would no longer pay any of his salary, which is considered relatively high for the Italians to pay as he currently earns €3 million per season after tax, according to reports.

Italian side AS Roma have already signed Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson ahead of the start of next season. They are now left with the decision whether to invest in Szczesny or not.
The move for Wojciech Szczesny is said to be more likely if they can secure a place in the next season’s UEFA Champions league by finishing in second place in the league.
