Two Superstars Leaving Anfield in January? Jurgen Klopp Wants to Get Rid of Attacking Force

Liverpool’s current player Joe Allen has been approached by his former club Swansea. According to Liverpool Echo, Swansea approached Jürgen Klopp for a possible return of Allen, but were told that he would not be allowed to leave this transfer window.

The 25-year-old will continue to contribute in Liverpool’s bid to finish the season in the top four, but will be allowed to leave in the summer transfer window.

The midfielder has only started in seven games under Klopp this season and finds himself out-of-favour as the manager prefers Emre Can and Jordan Henderson over him. If Allen continues to struggle making his place in the first-team, a return to Swansea is more likely.

Another player that has been linked with a move out of Anfield is their striker, Daniel Sturridge. According to Brentwood Gazette, West Ham are reported to be interested in signing the player.

The England international has managed to start in only four matches this season and a total of 13 appearances last year. He was also uninvolved in Liverpool’s FA Cup replay match against Exeter last night.

West Ham has been reported to make a bid of £18 million for the striker, and Klopp wouldn’t fight the transfer, but take it as an opportunity to create cash for upcoming Liverpool signings during the current transfer window.
