Two surprise starts – Manchester United likely line up for Bournemouth

Manchester United were humiliated out of the Champions League this week as they lost 3-2 to Wolfsburg but the most humiliated member of the club has remained the manager Louis Van Gaal who is been blamed by the fans of the club for being the one that caused the downfall for the team.

Although this mean that the Red Devils automatically qualify for the Europa League, the fans are still not comfortable with this but the boys will definitely have more work piled on for them as the Europa League is one of the most stressful competitions for the clubs in the English Premier League as it will portend a lot of long-distance traveling for sides in the English Premier League. Manchester United however have their case worsened with the many injuries they are suffering at the moment.

They face Bournemouth next in the English Premier League and will be hoping to win the match but will definitely have make do with a lot of youngsters as most of their first-team players are out injured.

Therefore, the Red Devils should line up like this:

Goalkeeper

David de Gea is about the best goalkeeper United have and although he allowed in three goals in their last match, he will be hoping he can do better against Bournemouth.

Defence

Matteo Darmian is reportedly injured with Marcus Rojo, Luke Shaw and Antonio Valencia so this means that Guillermo Varela will have to play at the right-back position and hope he can do well enough to help the team.

Chris Smalling and Phil Jones are out injured at the centre-back position so Daley Blind will have to be paired with youngster Paddy McNair and hope that they can do well together against Bournemouth. Another youngster, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, will have to play in the left-back position as all the players that could feature in that role have all been injured.
Midfield

Bastian Schweinsteiger faces a suspension and will not feature for the Red Devils and Morgan Schneiderlin is also out injured and might not be rushed back so soon so the manager will have to feature Michael Carrick and Marouane Fellaini and hope they can hold the midfield together and provide the link for the squad.

The attacking midfield will have to consist of Juan Mata, Ashley Young and Memphis Depay with Depay and Young playing in the wings while Mata will start in the centre of attack.

Forward

Anthony Martial will have to start in front of goal for the Red Devils as Wayne Rooney is out injured and will have to build on his goal in the Champions League match and hope to score more.
