Van Gaal Confirms January Signings Coming – Sadio Mane, Felipe Anderson and Gareth Bale

Manchester United gaffer Louis van Gaal has come under growing scrutiny in recent day as doubts about his stay at the club are growing pace following the worst run of eight matches without victory.

In recent weeks, United has been linked with several players including, Felipe Anderson, Sadio Mane and Gareth Bale after Van Gaal admitted that his goal-shy squared in a major concern.

The Dutchman is also reportedly planning to bring in a full-back because he is currently facing a shortage of defenders as Antonio Valencia, Luke Shaw and Marcos Rojo remain on the injuries-list.

Van Gaal who has been under intense pressure because of the mid-season crisis said that although January is not the best time to bring in new player, he will not discard bringing in new player to Old Trafford.

January brings the opening of the transfer window and, as I have already seen, we have been linked to a host of players,” Van Gaal explained.

“I don’t see January as the ideal time to do business as the players cannot then have the pre-season that I feel they need to be integrated into the squad, both on and off the pitch.

“However, if I and the coaches feel that something can be done to improve the current squad then that is something we will look at if the opportunity does arise.”
