Chelsea have finally reached an agreement to sign Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato on a loan deal, according to reports.

Foot Insider reports that the deal will be finalized in next 24 hours, and the club has already booked a medical for the 26-year old.

The former AC Milan is in his last year of the contract with Corinthians, but the Brazilian club weren’t able to afford the player and hence agreed to a loan deal.

It’s still not clear whether the deal will have a clause to make the move permanent at the end of the loan deal.

The West London club expects to finalize the medical and work permit for the player in the next 24 hours. Both parties have already agreed to personal terms.

The Brazilian was once considered as one of the world’s best strikers before injuries plagued his career at AC Milan.
He was finally able to overcome his injury troubles while playing in Brazil and scored 26 goals in 56 appearances for Sao Paulo during his loan move with the club.
