Chelsea Signings This Winter

Welcome To England – Club To Announce Signing Of 23 Goals In 23 Games Attacker

Chelsea hope to get their season back on course by spending big in the January transfer window, and the club has lined up a couple of players on their transfer target list with some others still surely to join. With the hopes of defending the title already shattered, a top-four finish is the only target, and the coach is willing to shake up some departments, starting from the attack. The Blues are ready to bring in Shakhtar Donetsk star attacker, Alex Teixeira, by winter, and they are ready to spend 30 million Pounds for the acquisition of his services.

The 25 year-old goalscoring machine has excelled as a number 10 all through his career before taking up the number 9 role this season, but his versatility to switch between the 2 positions has impressed Chelsea, and they will be hoping to deploy him behind a frontman. Teixeira has 23 goals in 23 games across all competitions for the Ukrainian side, and he remains a top-priority signing.

Other attacking options on Chelsea’s radar include West Brom’s Saido Berahino (the number 9 is currently unsettled and wants out of the club) and Atletico Madrid’s front man, Antoine Griezmann. The France international is however not likely to be available until the next summer.

Chelsea also have eyes on Boca Juniors young striker, Jonathan Calleri. The Argentine is said to be worth around 10 million Pounds and the club is monitoring his situation and trying to seal down his signature as he is also said to be on Inter Milan’s radar.

He qualifies for an Italian passport, making him an easy target for the Serie A giants. Chelsea also have plans for Everton central half, John Stones. After a couple of failed bids during the summer transfer window, they will launch another for his services. PSG’s Marquinhos is also a target for the Pensioners as they continue plans to strengthen their defence line.
