According to El Pais, Manchester United have made a bid of €60 million to Real Madrid for the signing of Sergio Ramos. The report claims that the Spanish international is insisting on the move to Old Trafford, and wants it done over with as soon as possible.
The Spanish outlet also claims that Real Madrid are seriously mulling over selling the defender to the Red Devils, and are also desperate to complete the signing of David De Gea before the close of the current window.
Madrid are hoping to cash in on the Spanish defender in order to swoop for David De Gea, who has been linked with a move to the Spanish club. The €60 million being offered by the Red Devils, would allow Los Blancos negotiate a fee for De Gea.
Backing up the report from the Spanish press, Sky Sports also claims that the Spanish international is also eager to make the switch to Old Trafford, and has told Real Madrid that he wants to Join Manchester United this summer.
Man United fans will also be hoping that the mystery player Louis van Gaal has been talking about in the media is Ramos, whose experience will be vital to a United team that requires a player of his calibre in the heart of the defence.
However, the player’s desire to leave this window is not an indication that Madrid are going to let him go that easy. The club as a lot of us know, is known for playing hardball when it comes to negotiating the release of their players.
