WELCOME TO OLD TRAFFORD! United Set To Sign High Rated Arsenal Target
Manchester United are not only looking at the present but also the future. News have broke out that the Louis van Gaal-led side are set to sign midfield youngster DJ Buffonge from Fulham later this week.
This is as per Goal journalist Greg Stobart who claimed on his Twitter page that the U-18 midfielder will sign for the Red Devils this week.
United have spent wisely thus far this summer in order to plug the leaking holes, with investments in Memphis Depay, Matteo Darmian, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Morgan Schneiderlin and Sergio Romero and they seem not done yet.
Buffonge moved to the Fulham academy from Arsenal in 2010 and made his way into the Under-18 team at the end of the 2013/14 season. Since then, the exciting midfielder has not relented. Although, he is practically an Under-16 player, he was kept in the Under-18 team.
United are set to start their challenge for the Premier League title this weekend against Tottenham at Old Trafford, and according to Stobart’s tweet, the youngster may not be a Red Devil by then.
In the meantime, Barcelona’s Pedro Rodriguez is reportedly closing in on a Premier League move with Manchester United after the player’s mum had earlier in the week claimed his son would be moving to England. However, reports have suggested Barca still want tol hold on to Pedro until after the Super Cup match against Sevilla on the 11th day of August.
