Welcome To Stamford Bridge – 14 Goals 1 Assists In 14 Games Striker Set For Chelsea Move

Who would have thought before the start of the season that Chelsea will be forced to doing business in the January transfer market giving their caliber and quality of players in their rank? Chelsea have endured a shambolic start to their season and they have been on the lookout for players with better quality to save their capitulated season.

Mousa Dembele and Jamie Vardy have emerged as transfer targets for Chelsea and they attempt a deal for the duo when the transfer window of January comes alive and the Blues have prepared a transfer war-chest of £40 million for the aforementioned duo.

Tottenham have been in blistering form this season and a key performer that has helped them achieved the form has been Mousa Dembele.

Known for going past players with ease in the midfield, the £20 million-rated box-to-box midfielder was tipped with a move in the summer in search of Champions League football. Chelsea still have the opportunity to qualify for the competition if they sign some players and they could use it to lure Dembele to Stamford Bridge.

Meanwhile, Diego Costa has been dismal this season and Mourinho is understood to be unsatisfied with his performance and the Portuguese is understood to be rooting for the Premier league top scorer Jamie Vardy. Vardy broke Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record yesterday to become the first player to score in 11 consecutive Premier League matches.

Despite playing for Leicester City, Vardy has emerged as top scorer in the league. Thus far, he has scored 14 goals in 14 league appearances and has fired his team to the top of the table. Following Vardy’s consistency, his quality is no longer in doubt and Mourinho is understood to be looking at the possibility on of signing the goal poacher in January.
