Welcome To Stamford Bridge – Chelsea Set To Sign 5ft 9″ POWERFUL DM

Italian league side, Cagliari have recently confirmed rumours stating that Chelsea and Juventus have been in touch over the services of 19 year-old Ghana defensive midfielder, Godfrey Donsah. The player was one of the few high points of a relatively mediocre Cagliari side that got relegated last term, and the Blues as well as the Old Lady appear ready to capitalize on the situation and poach the youngster away from the club.

The Express reports that Juventus, despite already having the likes of Paul Pogba and others, are keen on the player and have even already had a bid rejected by his club. Despite Cagliari President, Tommaso Guilini, stating that the player would not depart the club, he however appears flexible enough to permit a transfer abroad for the Ghana International.

Jose Mourinho, having monitored his progress for a period, happens to be keen to land his services; as Chelsea, who already have a defensive midfield anchor in Nemanja Matic, would surely need adequate cover- which Donsah would conveniently provide; given the seeming inconsistencies of Ramires and John Mikel Obi, and also in case of injury to Matic.
