Welcome To Stamford Bridge? Koke Set For January Move To Chelsea? Player’s Agent Speaks

Koke has been generating a lot of news concerning himself and where he will be by January or by next season. He is undoubtedly one of Atlético Madrid’s most  important players and has been very pivotal in their midfield and for their campaign this season but has been linked with a move away from the Spanish club for the past couple of seasons.

However, the news have become more heated in recent times and he is likely to move to Chelsea who are seriously pining after him. This is however not the first time he has been linked to Chelsea but the midfielder remains Diego Simeone’s player and, according to his agent, he will be for as long as they have a contract with Atletico Madrid.

The player’s agent, Iñaki Espizua said: “Today, we only think about Atlético. The will of the player is to stay at this club, with whom we have an extraordinary relationship.”There is no reason to think about anything else. There have always been talk of it, he is a top player and it’s normal that big clubs are thinking about him.

The 23-year-old already has 19 caps for his country Spain, where midfield positions are hard to tie down and he has been a regular starter for his club since the age of 19, playing over 40 games a season from 2011-2012 till now.

Chelsea fans will quietly hoping that their manager Jose Mourinho will be able to make things fast enough especially by January and make Koke a Chelsea player soon enough to help them with their campaign this season as they try to soon make the Stamford Bridge a place where opponents are afraid to visit again.
