Isco to Chelsea

Welcome To Stamford Bridge? Spain Midfield Maestro To Finally Sign For Chelsea In January

Often times, the January window has been used to compensate for the summer transfer failings. Clubs use the market to sign players that doesn’t necessary add quality to their side but depth as the market to believed to be short of quality players. However, Chelsea are on the verge of pulling a surprise deal as they are understood to be on the verge of raiding the City of Madrid for Spain and Real Madrid playmaker Isco, per reports.

Isco joined Real Madrid from Malaga in the summer of 2013 but is yet to establish himself as a first team player especially after impressing under the tutelage of Ancelotti. Since the appointment of Rafa Benitez, Isco has been playing bit part for Madrid and the player is reportedly unhappy with the methods of Benitez. If he continues to play from the bench, he might not have the chance of playing for Spain in the European Championship slated for next year.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have also been unhappy with the performance of Oscar and they have planned to offload him as plan of their January clear out. With the Blues ‘One out, One in’ Policy, they have been monitoring Isco and are keen to sign him as replacement for Oscar.

Chelsea have endured a calamitous start to this season and the players have been mainly blamed for the failings of the team.
