According to metro, As Monaco’s Portugese internation Joao Moutinho may be on his way to north London after the player reportedly made it clear to Monaco that he will leave the club this summer should they fail to reach the group stages of the UEFA Champions league.

Metro went further to state that should Monaco overcome a 3-1 deficit to Valencia on Tuesday, Moutinho will hand in a transfer request in order to force through a move. This has reportedly put Wenger on red alert.

Moutinho though a box to box midfielder, he is versatile enough to play the defensive midfield role and as he is likely to be available on the cheap, Wenger may finally get his man without having to break the bank.
