Wenger to Repeat ‘Welbeck Situation’ with Daniel Sturridge After Latest Massive Breakout with Klopp

It seems Arsene Wenger is more eager to pick up scrap from other clubs rather than invest in an actual quality striker.

Wenger bought Danny Welbeck from Manchester United, and now he is interested in bringing Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge to the Emirates.

According to Metro, Daniel Sturridge and Jürgen Klopp had an argument and now the England international is keen to leave Anfield.

Reports suggests that multiple Premier League clubs are interested in getting his services, but the player himself wants to move to London. Hence, though Gunners become the likelier destination, West Ham are also said to in the competition to sign him.

Sturridge is currently on a £150,000-a-week deal, but his contract at his next club is said to be based on appearances.
