Wenger’s Good Friendship with Club’s Manager Will Lead to Transfer of Forward, Deal to Be Announced

According to the Daily Mail, Reading have opened talks with Arsenal over Alex Iwobi’s in regard to a move to Madejski Stadium.

Reading gaffer Brian McDermott is reportedly keen on securing the Nigeria international services after Nick Blackman completed a move to Derby.

Besides, it is believe that Arsene Wenger is aware that the Nigerian needs much playing time to help him develop. And with Iwobi’s ability to play either on the wing or up top, he would be a major asset for the Royals.

To add fuel to the speculation, it is reported that Wenger’s good friendship with McDermott is likely to make the deal go through easily.
