Yes It is True!!! Chelsea Reach Agreement To Sign Pogba, Medical Immient, Oscar & Willian To Leave

The reason some football fans hate the transfer window, or certain aspects of it, is not so far-fetched. It is indeed a situation where balderdash reigns and the more unlikely a claim the more success hangs around it, if that success is qualified by things like Twitter followers count.

When exclusives from transfer “specialists” and “know-alls” come in, it would circulate so much that football fans will kind of believe it as similar to when milk is being extracted from cows’ udders so much that the large bag-like mammary glands could fall off.

Take Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri for example.

He [tancredipalmeri] first chipped in with a tweet: “ATTENTION. It’s the BIGGEST transfer news of the summer. I hours by now. 19.15 UK, 20.15 CET. Premier League club and a european one involved.”

He followed up with “5 minutes to the BIGGEST transfer news of the window.”

And then a third one: “SUPERBOOM! Chelsea have offered 120m € to Juventus for Pogba! Juve not keen to sell, but understand they will not get more.”

That is all that was required to spark English, Italian and Spanish media to action. There has not been any news in Italy before the report, but it has been covered now. Sport Witness says website that Calcio Napoli is already referring to Tancredi as “CNN’s Tancredi”, which will appear new to CNN who have the journalist as an occasional contributor.

The inception of the rumour laundering has been witnessed, and it did not take the Daily Express to carry the report – with the British broadsheet carrying a headline: “Chelsea make stunning £86m bid for Paul Pogba 24 hours after beating Man United to Pedro.”

Finally, the rumour of Pogba’s transfer to Chelsea has now been widely circulated just hours after manager Jose Mourinho refused to rule out the Blues interest in the Juventus midfielder, and at the same time taking a swipe at the Old Lady boss Massimiliano Allegri for talking about his admiration for Oscar and Ramires.

This has further sparked other rumours that one of the Brazilians could be used as a make-weight to land Pogba, and Chelsea misfit Juan Cuadrado has also been mentioned.
