Chelsea star Eden Hazard, despite his current poor form, is one of the hottest properties in football world right now. One latest football study suggested that only Lionel Messi is worth more than the Belgian international and it appears that we could see a bidding war between two football giants for his services.
PSG and Real Madrid are both interested in the player and want the 25-year-old as their next marquee signing next summer. The player himself has made it clear to the Premier League champions that he wants to leave the club in the summer.
Hazard dreams of playing for Real Madrid one day, but anything is possible in football.
French publication Le Sport 10 claims that PSG have received an initial positive response from Hazard camp are 60% sure of signing the player in the summer.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is a fan of the player and has publicly claimed that he would try to bring the Belgian to Santiago Bernabeu.
“After Messi and Ronaldo, Hazard is my favourite player. It is spectacular to see him play,” Zidane said in November. “Do I see him going to Real Madrid? I love the player; that’s all I will say.”
Spanish publication Marca has claimed that Los Blancos are also planning a bid for the player and will do everything in their power to sign him in the summer.
It is reported that Hazard will discuss his future destination with his father before deciding his move. Hazard has struggled to find form this season after winning the double with Mourinho last season and is yet to score a goal for the Blues. He has only managed four assists in 27 appearances this season.
His current deal with the Blues end in 2020 and owner Roman Abramovich will have the final negotiating power in the deal. Considering, Chelsea sold David Luiz to PSG for £50m in 2014, Hazard’s transfer could very well break the world record.
