Ibrahimovic to Chelsea

Zlatan Ibrahimovich To Join Chelsea In Shock Deal?

According to reports from the Mirror, Swedish legend Jonas Olsson thinks that English Premier League failures, Chelsea should sign superstar Sweden International and Paris Saint-Germaine striker Zlatan Ibrahimovich. The 34-year-old has hinted on a move away from the French Ligue 1 at the end of the present season and has also hinted that he might like a switch to the English Premier League.

The ace striker has played in a number of leagues but has yet to play in the English Premier League and so desperately wants to before his career ends and while he can still contribute and make an impact in the team he plays for. Ibrahimovich said, “I am very happy in PSG, I have my last six months and let us see what happens afterwards. I am enjoying it, I enjoy every day on the field. While I am playing at the top level I just want to join it and do my thing. I do not know where I will finish my career let us wait and see.”

Olsson is however of the opinion that Ibra should not wait and see but should make the switch to Stamford Bridge when his contract expires in the next summer transfer window. He said, “For me, he would be a great signing for any team. He’s coming up to 34 now but you all saw the game against Denmark.”

“He’s at the top of his game. He could play for any team in the Premier League. He’s that good. He’s the strongest player I’ve been up against in my career. It’s not over for him. I hope he comes. He has played under Mourinho before and the only place where he is not 100 percent appreciated is in the UK. You need big personalities in the game – and they don’t come much bigger than Zlatan. On his day, he’s the most talented player in the game. He’s a winner. Everywhere he’s been, he’s won. He’s never had an off-year. He is that player who lifts everyone else around him. He’s demanding. Of himself and his teammates. He’s one of the top players in the world.”

Ibrahimovich could just be the key to making Chelsea better as he is presently better than the three Blues striker put together.
