“He could only play 20 minutes against Derby, and I wanted to give him that 20 minutes because we need him playing regularly again,” said van Gaal. “He did very well, and I have no complaints.”<\/p>\n
The Red Devils could also have Bastian Schweinsteiger back from knee trouble, and Matteo Darmian is still recovering from a heavy collision he suffered against Southampton.<\/p>\n
Antonio Valencia, Luke Shaw, Ashley Young and Marcos Rojo are still out, while Phil Jones is closing towards a comeback.<\/p>\n
