Chelsea players are feeling anxious as they see out the remainder of the season and look forward to starting a new one with a new boss in charge. Many are worried about their Chelsea futures, and rightly so after a dismal season that has led them to achieving an unwanted record; the worst defense of a Premier League title.<\/p>\n
Antonio Conte will come in next season to try and revive the team\u2019s fortunes, and players have been releasing statements to try and get on the new boss\u2019s good books.<\/p>\n
Cesc Fabregas is the latest to speak out about the Italian coach, telling the media that Conte expects success from the very beginning. Failure will not be tolerated and underperforming players will be dropped without hesitation:<\/p>\n
\u201cI know for a fact that he is a winner and he expects to win straight away. I think it will be just about adapting to what he wants in pre-season and adapting to the tactical side and technical side of the game he wants to play.<\/p>\n
Obviously, we don\u2019t know what that is still, but after the Euros we will have a nice pre-season to see what he wants from us. We will all try to help and I\u2019m sure we will do our best and put Chelsea back where it belongs.\u201d
\nEden Hazard has also spoken out in favor of the new manager, telling the media, who widely tipped him to leave for Real Madrid this summer, that he wants to stay at Chelsea and work hard to be an integral part of Conte\u2019s plans.<\/p>\n
