After defeat to West Ham United, Champions League football looks to be out of the question for Manchester United next season. They need to win their last fixture, with Manchester City losing in order to give them 4th place. They might still win the FA Cup, but they have not looked like challenging Leicester or Tottenham all year.<\/p>\n
They look desperately thin in some areas of the pitch and they look like they don\u2019t have a leader. They have some class players, and some great youngsters, but they don\u2019t look like a team capable of winning the league.<\/p>\n
This is probably one of the reasons that they are looking to bring on board Jose Mourinho as a manager to lead the team to glory. It\u2019s also the reason they might make Brazilian playmaker, Neymar, their top target for next season.<\/p>\n
Neymar has made a name for himself since moving from Santos to Barcelona, forming one third of the deadliest strike force in Europe alongside Messi and Suarez. He has 30 goals in 47 games this season, and 266 in his career. He is still just 24 years of age and some say that he has not yet peaked.<\/p>\n
How much would he cost United? The answer is a lot. He would cost a monumental transfer fee and certainly demand more than current top earner, Wayne Rooney. But he would certainly be a spectacle to behold and be a testament to how good the Premier League is.
