To say that Arsenal need reinforcements upfront is an understatement. The Gunners have struggled for firepower in the striking role with Olivier Giroud their best option. That’s not a pretty sign for a team that are expected to compete in all four fronts each season.<\/p>\n
But worry no longer as Arsenal will look to dip into the transfer market to address this overdue situation as they have also been linked with Alvaro Morata and Mauro Icardi.<\/p>\n
To make this situation better, Arsenal have been given the go ahead to sign AZ\u2019s\u00a0sensational striker Vincent Janssen after the forward\u2019s agent suggested that he may be on the move in the summer transfer window.<\/p>\n
Janssen has been instrumental for AZ upon his arrival for the Eredivisie side. He has bagged an impressive 27 goals in just 34 appearances since making his debut for AZ in 2015. Janssen leads the Dutch top divisions goal scoring, baring in mind that he is only 21, that’s impressive.<\/p>\n
Although the Dutch division is not regarded as one of Europe\u2019s top leagues, Janssens performances can’t be underestimated. He holds a goal on average of 0.78 goals a game. Which will certainly be a boost to Giroud who has been inconsistent for the Gunners as he has 0.41 goals a game. Despite his great performances a move appears to be on the cards. He has recently been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Arsenal the front runners.<\/p>\n

He is a player that is looking to develop his game in hopes of reaching his full potential which has been compared to that of United’s former striker Van Ruud Nistelrooy. To add to that, the Red Devils are keen on the superstar themselves.
