The controversy surrounding the striker\u2019s reaction came as a result of a reported picture in the social media, which showed the Colombian dashing out of the stadium. However, Falcao has come out to dismiss the report through his own Twitter account.<\/p>\n
Falcao went on Twitter to retweet a message credited to the Colombian journalist: \u201cTo clarify. Falcao was at Old Trafford on Sunday, a game that I attended. Also, he was seen with Van Gaal in the tunnel after the game.\u201d<\/p>\n
Falcao has not been able to replicate the same form that made him a thorn in the flesh of most defenders in Portugal and Spain. The striker has been plagued with injuries since signing a season-long loan deal with the Old Trafford outfit on the last day of the summer transfer window.
