After winning the FA Cup back-to-back in the last two seasons, the Gunners have the right to dream big in the coming seasons. It is time to move to lofty heights, and cement their return to the big scene by not only challenging for the league title, but also winning the title itself. To this end, the manager is already in the market to try and sign a couple of key players to improve his team, and challenge for the title next season. Arsenal have been linked with a move for some key players including, Peter Cech, Morgan Schniederlin, and Karim Benzema amongst others. We take a look at how the club will line up next season with all three signings in the team.<\/p>\n
While all three players will not come cheap, it is believed by many pundits, including, millions of Arsenal fans that the trio would significantly improve our team. Cech for instance is not one to sit on the bench\u2014which means Arsenal could have a new number one next season.<\/p>\n
It is no secret that our performance improved at about the same time Wenger recalled Coquelin from his loan spell in the Championship. For seasons, the midfield has been crying for a Viera-like kind of signing, and though, Coquelin still has a long way to go, his contribution to the team from January showed just how important the role of a defensive midfielder is. Wenger\u2019s interest in Schniederlin is an indication that the Frenchman has made up his mind to provide the much needed physical presence in the midfield. Perhaps, a little unfair to Coquelin some might say; but football is all about competition, and the presence of Schniederlin can only bring out the best in Coquelin.<\/p>\n
One of the biggest problems Arsenal had all through last season, was goal scoring. Perhaps, we would have secured a semi-final or final spot in last season\u2019s Champions League if only we had a player like Benzema in the team.<\/p>\n
