Speculations about the managerial position of the biggest club in England has been going on since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson. David Moyes failed the position and LVG is on his decline.
Last game LVG blew his sides chances of reaching the UCL spots. And soon BBC broke the report that United have confirmed Mourinho as their new manager. LVG’s sacking has been long coming and Woodward and all the united officials have been really quiet about it. Since the departure of Sir Alex United hasn’t looked the same.
They need to bring their arrogance back. According to everyone the one guy who can bring that arrogance back is Jose Mourinho. He has that arrogant personality which goes with the never say die attitude of United.
But Mourinho has had his fair share of controversy. Whichever club he goes to he brings controversy. And after he leaves the clubs goes through a downward phase. Although these are true one thing that Mourinho can insure is instant turn around and success. For this reason he is a big attraction for everyone.
What does this mean for LVG? He has faced so much criticism throughout the season. Everyone was sure about his sacking. He did reach the FA cup finals and is close to UCL spot.
But he has made some really bad decisions which have hampered his progress. But the Dutch is really lucky. Roberto Martinez is the latest man to get sacked but LVG is still standing.
