Jose Mourinho wants to make Marcus Rashford a key player at Manchester United

Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford has already proved that he has what it takes to be part of Manchester United success story. Jose Mourinho is the latest person to praise the youngster, saying that he will be a crucial part of his team when he takes over from LVG in the summer.

The former Chelsea boss has been criticized for preferring older and more experienced players in the starting lineup to young players. In fact, he is already planning for a move for Zlatan Ibrahimovic from PSG. This is the direct opposite of Louis Van Gaal’s current team which is composed of young players, mainly graduates from the Youth system.

The sterling performance of Rashford, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Jesse Lingard and Timothy Fosu-Mensah has proved that the Red evils can trust its youth system.

As the Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho did not want to take risks with the academy graduates and young players, and this explains why he sold Romelu Lukaku to Everton, with Guus Hiddink overheard saying recently that the move was uncalled for. Chelsea is already planning to re-sign the player from Everton.

Having scored 7 goals in 12 appearances and helping the Red Devils keep their dreams of a top-four finish alive, no doubt, Rashford has a bright future at Manchester United, and the special one was quick to note that he will make him a pivotal part of his team.

Though PSG has also approached Jose Mourinho, he has a strong interest in managing Manchester United and he is thus likely to sign a contract with the Red Devils.
