Man Utd have started negotiation over a potential transfer for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Le Sport10 claims that the Red Devils have already held discussions with the player’s agent over a summer move. Recent reports state that the negotiations are already in “advanced stage”. Red Devils are reportedly making sure the striker will indeed seal the contract during the next transfer window.
Earlier this week, United were linked with a move for the Gabon international, and the latest report suggests that they have already started working on bringing the 26-year old to Old Trafford.
The Bundesliga club value their player at £46.7million and they have already made it clear that they won’t even consider the bids below their valuation.
Premier League rivals Arsenal were also interested in the player, but their interest has seemed to cool down in the recent days.
Aubameyang has really impressed for Dortmund this season and has scored 20 times in only 20 league appearances. He also won African Player of the award last month.
He progressed through the AC Milan youth academy before joining St Etienne in 2011. After impressing for the Ligue 1 club, he sealed a £9m move to Dortmund in 2013.
