Man United News – Key Midfielder Ruled Out Of Tonight Clash – Not Carrick

Reports emanating from Germany and England claims the duo of Wolfsburg midfield Luiz Gustavo and Vieirinha will be not be featuring in their Champions League clash against Manchester United this evening.

Following Louis Van Gaal’s men poor show-off that saw them lose to PSV in their first Champions League match a fortnight ago, the Red Devils are now compelled to win against the tough German side.

Gustavo and Vieirinha picked up injuries which was revealed by a sports media house via their twitter handle.

The news which has come as unpleasant to the German side ironically seems a blessings and moral booster for the Red Devils. The injured midfielders of Wolfsburg are key players in the squad and United will be looking to exploit of their absence.

Gustavo has been sidelined with a knee injury which he picked up when Bayern Munich defeated them a fortnight ago and according to ESPN, he will unlikely to play against United.  As for Vieirinha, the player has failed top recover from a thigh problem, hence his absence.

The Red Devils have scored three goals each in their last four Premier League games – they will be riding on so much confidence when they take-on Wolfsburg.
