Arsenal Star Reportedly Moving to Barcelona in a £50m Deal

In one of the most bizarre and implausible rumours today, Daily Express reports that La Liga champions Barcelona are planning a summer swoop for Arsenal midfielder, Aaron Ramsey.

The report claims that Barcelona manager Luis Enrique is a big fan of the Welshman, and he is prepared to shell out £50m for his services in the summer.

Barcelona have their transfer embargo lifted this month, and they plan to make a splash in the transfer market and according to the report Ramsey and Everton defender John Stones are their top targets.

The 25-year-old Arsenal player is a valuable player of Arsene Wenger’s squad, and it’s highly unlikely that the Frenchman would let go of one of his star performers.  Ramsey arrived at Emirates Stadium from Cardiff City in a £4.8 million deal in 2008, and he is one of the longest-serving members of the current Arsenal squad.
