Depay To Start – Manchester United Likely Line Up For Middlesborough

Manchester United face Middlesbrough in the League Cup after a disappointing draw with City during weekend’s Derby. They face Crystal Palace next in the EPL, and despite the fact that Palace will most certainly be a tough opponent away from home, it is not known if LVG will feature key members of his first team or stick with the youth side. A dominant team B side was deployed against Ipswich Town in the last League Cup, and that is likely to be seen again.

GOALKEEPER

He should get a game time today in the middle of the midfield, while Memphis Depay is likely to get a recall to the left wing after sitting out on the bench in the last 3 games due to his poor performances. Jesse Lingard is beginning to stake a claim in the starting lineup, and he was close to getting a goal in the Derby. Mata will probably be rested for the 22 year-old right winger to shine once again.

STRIKER

After starting out on the left wing in the absence of Depay from the starting lineup in the last 3 games, Anthony Martial could be returned to the front, or James Wilson who has been missing for a while could be handed a start.
