Real Madrid Winger Reportedly on his Way to Anfield Before the Closure of the Transfer Window

Reports in Spain claim that Liverpool are contemplating a move for Real Madrid winger Denis Cheryshev. Spain’s famous radio station Cope claims that the Russian is on his way to Anfield before the closure of the transfer window.

The report fails to mention whether it would be a loan move or a permanent move for the 25-year old.

Cheryshev has progressed through the Real Madrid youth ranks but has failed to cement a spot in the club’s senior squad.

He has managed only 33 minutes of league action two substitute appearances in La Liga this season. He spent the last season on loan at Villarreal and impressed by scoring four goals in 26 league appearances for the club.

Cheryshev was a victim of controversy earlier this season when his appearance in a Copa Del Ray game resulted in club’s eviction from the cup.
