Record Breaking Striker With 7 Goals In 8 Games To Join Arsenal In January

If the report from the Metro is anything to go by, then Arsenal could be getting a top quality striker when the transfer window re-opens in January.

The report claims Celta Vigo forward, who is a subject of interests from Arsenal, Liverpool and his former side Barcelona, is set to snub all approaches from other suitors to complete a move to the Emirates stadium.

The Spanish forward is being targeted by the Catalan giants but a move to the Nou Camp has been complicated by their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain’s want-away forward Ezequiel Lavezzi, as per the report.

Nolito knows Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is interested in him and the Spain international striker will be interested in moving to North London where he feels he will be an integral member of the Arsenal team.

Nevertheless, Nolito, 28, is keen to see out his contract at Celta Vigo despite being desperate to complete a move to Arsenal.

Nolito spent three years with Barcelona before leaving the Nou Camp in 2011 after failing to break into the first team. The Sanluca de Barrameda-born player has been in brilliant form for Celta Vigo since the start of last season, with 13 goals in 28 appearances for the La Liga outfit.

Celta Vigo are currently third in the league this term, having been boosted by Nolito’s five goals in seven La Liga outings.
