Simon Mignolet capped his Liverpool debut with a clean sheet, making five saves along the way, the third highest in the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index. Liverpool are 5/2 with 888sport.com to win without conceding a goal.

Lucas Leiva won 8 tackles against Stoke, second only to his opponent last weekend Steven Nzoni, who won 9 in what was a fiercely contested match

  1. Oh dear. You’re actually putting stock by Benteke’s shots on target so far. That’s two from the penalty spot (legitimate or otherwise is irrelevant), one of which was saved and one a free header from two yards asa result of a saved penalty whist completely unchallenged and with the goal keeper on the floor. So he hasn’t really continued from where he left off at all. He’s had two shots in 180 minutes of oen play.

    As for quoting, “Ron Vlaar was the Premier League’s cleanest tackler last season,” that’s as maybe but he’s probaby proved himself to be the dirtiest tackler this season and should really be serving a ban for this match anyway as even Villa fan admit.
