Reliable Journalist Confirms £280,000-A-Week Could Play For United Next Season

Amidst various media speculations surrounding his future at Old Trafford, Jamie Jackson of the Guardian has sounded a note of warning to Angel Di Maria, who is being linked with a move to PSG.

According to Jackson, the British record signing, who joined United last season for a record fee of £59.7 million; has been “messed around” by Louis van Gaal, and may not be considered for a starting spot next season. According to talkSPORT, the Argentine may struggle to play regularly for the club next season. In his first season at Old Trafford, the Argentine international struggled with a couple of injuries, which limited his contribution to the team.

While speaking to talkSPORT, Jackson said:

“If he does stay he might struggle to get into the team, I don’t think he’s an instant starter in United’s strongest 11.

“Once he got sent off in that FA Cup game [against Arsenal] he couldn’t get back in the team.

“Personally, as a football fan I’d like to see him given a good go in his best position, he was messed around a little by van Gaal, but then a lot of the players were and had to fight for recognition – Ashley Young the prime example.”

Despite not being able to impress his manager, the Argentine still remains one of the most sort-after players in this current window. He is currently attracting the attention of Bayern Munich and PSG; with both clubs believed to be interested in pricing him out of the Old Trafford before the end of the window.
